At Peacockangel we can supply an assortment of oils for a
variety of purposes such as anointing, burning, or aromatherapy. These are
all essential oils with no carriers or dilutents.
Sacred
Medjet Oil
The recipe comes from the ‘laboratory’ walls of the Temple of Horus at Edfu,
(237 BCE and 57 BCE), which preserves ancient recipes of sacred incenses,
oils, and unguents used in Egyptian ritual. It was used to 'join bones and
flesh
together in the afterlife' it became a way of honouring the divine. Use it
for
consecration and for driving away negativity and as an aid for divinatory or
astral journeyings. Traditionally made from a variety of ingredients
including
pinon, cinnamon, cyperus grass, juniper, storax and myrrh, all mixed and
macerated together for a moon month. The scent can be reminiscent Abramelin
because of the common ingredients of myrrh and cinnamon, but more complex.

Anointing Oils

ourselves...
From a traditional Middle Eastern recipe and containing their sacred oils
including spikenard, cinnamon cedar, frankincense, myrrh.
Only one is offered on the site at present, although we are planning to add
to the range.

myrrh and lotus - a very effective way of being touch with the Goddess.

A strong blend that includes various kinds of storax, poppy and patchouli -
as dark as the Lady herself.

Isis Oil
Signature oil for the Lady of 10,000 names some of which are The One Who Is
All and Isis Panthea.
It includes rose, myrrh and muget.
According to Manly Palmer Hall "...Isis is ...used to represent the
occult and magical arts, such as necromancy, invocation, sorcery"

Thoth Oil
Incense hath been offered unto thee of the incense of Thoth, and incense
hath been offered unto Thoth of thy incense. A subtle blend that
includes myrrh, calmus and benzoin for calling and honouring the God.

Kyphi Oil
Not long ago people thought recipes for Kyphi hadn't survived but
archaeology and research has made quite a lot of information on it available
to us. As a result of piecing together many different and partly incomplete
notes, such as Papyrus Ebers, there are many different recipes being
used today - here is an oil that is the sum total of much experimentation
and research - it includes spikenard, frankincense, myrrh, cedar, juniper
berries and orris.

presented as an oil which accelerates absorption into the limbic and
increases beneficial effects.
